Project Summary
As a startup company in a competitive space, we endeavoured to create something that stands out, while also keeping it affordable. To cater to the clients needs we opted for a single page scrolling site, which features all the bells and whistles of a high-end boutique website, while keeping the project scope manageable. The clients were incredibly happy with the result, and have already gained enquiries through their website about their videography services.
Aim
To create an aesthetic website with stunning visuals that stands out in a competitive market and that showcases Markin Media's work to the best effect possible. The client prefers the use of a dark theme, which will help bring focus to the body of work and make for a more visually interesting final product.
Outcome
Through use of large cover images and embedded videos, we were able to showcase the quality of work as well as highlight the key services that are offered. We made sure to include keywords throughout for SEO purposes to assist with their ranking, which is notoriously difficult for single page websites. They are already ranking #1 for their brand name (edging out a pre-existing competitor), and have plenty of room for expansion once they decided to proceed with a full website.
